MEMBERSHIP ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Membership Advisory Council exists to sustain and build the REOMAC membership. As an advisory board to the REOMAC Board of Directors, members report to the board on our efforts and ideas for growing the membership. Members of the council survey the membership to determine their interests to ensure the organization is fulfilling the membership’s needs. The Membership Council oversees outreach to renewing members and also develops marketing ideas to bring in new members. The Membership Council is also called on to speak at REOMAC events to promote membership renewals and solicitation of new potential members. The Council has been essential in guaranteeing the growth of our premier industry association.  


 

RESIDENTIAL EDUCATION ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Residential Education Advisory Council shall be responsible for the educational content at dinner meetings, workshops and summits. The Residential Education Council shall present all content to the Board of Directors for approval prior to scheduling speakers. The Advisory Council will choose topics that are timely and of interest to all Association members.


 

COMMERCIAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Commercial Council shall be responsible for orchestrating commercial education dinner meetings, events, workshops, webinars and summit training sessions. The Council will focus on providing commercial topics of interest to the existing residential REOMAC membership, which also attracts new but already seasoned members from the commercial arena. The Commercial Council will focus on upcoming commercial industry development in order to offer our current REOMAC residential broker members new gateways of opportunities for networking and expansion into the business-centric commercial trade.


 

GOVERNANCE COUNCIL

The Governance Council will ensure the accuracy of the Association’s governing documents, including the bylaws and Manual of Policies and Procedures. The Council will oversee the ethical policies as set by the Board for the membership and the annual election process. 


 

FINANCE ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Finance Council shall review the budget to ensure REOMAC is staying on target with the approved budget projections.  The Council will recommend any needed adjustments to the Board of Directors. (Current board members constitute the membership of this Council.)


 

FOUNDATION ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Foundation Council strives to promote the importance of education, giving back and supporting those seeking higher education to achieve their goals. The Council is tasked with raising funds to promote to promote the Foundation Scholarship Program at the Annual Summit and dinner events across the country. The Council is responsible for reviewing the Scholarship Applications each year and recommending scholarship awards for approval by the Foundation Board of Directors.
